You’ll focus on liaising with customers, designing, building, maintaining and developing state-of-the-art Natural Language Interaction (NLI) solutions, in domains such as artificial intelligence, databases, expert systems, and natural language processing systems.
The role is 45% linguist, 40% customer facing/Consultant and 15% programming/technical.

For this role candidates could live in the South of England and work from home.

Requirements:

Degree in Computational Linguistics is a plus.

• Statistics (preferably applied to natural language analysis)
• Morphology, Lexicology, Phonetics, Pragmatics, Automated speech analysis and synthesis
• Formal syntax, Formal Semantics, Corpus analysis, Dialogue management, Parsing
• Machine learning, Machine translation, Computer aided language lerning – in combination with language studies or interest in language itself.

2+ years working in the NLP-filed

• Proficiency in at least one of the following programming languages: Prolog, or any of the declarative languages (C, C++, Java, Pascal, etc.)
• Databases/SQL
